The rate of e-commerce growth exploded since the first lockdown and imposed a multitude of changes to businesses in order to secure business sustainability.

Subsequent lockdowns around the world resulted in unintended consequences of scarcity and high prices – coupled with extended delays and subsequent supply chain constraints. Kalideck quickly assessed the landscape and in conjunction with our strategic partners (suppliers) – adjusted our traditional approaches and changed our business models to ensure continued superior service and product to the market.

The worldwide lockdowns have caused tremendous disruptions which had the unintended but sporadic consequences of logistical collapse around the world. This situation resulted in a scarcity of space and equipment and consequently interruption to the supply of products.

We all know scarcity results in higher prices which ultimately affect the end consumer. The situation is exacerbated by energy challenges and production constraints as global suppliers struggle to meet the growing demand.

As the leading merchant in the printing and packaging industry, our fundamentals are solid and our path ahead is clear. We are under no illusion that there is a clear path ahead but we believe that we can overcome all obstacles when plans are in place. As a team, we act in unison and are ever responsive to the customer’s changing needs and global trends.
